Forest bathing, inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, means to take in or absorb the forest atmosphere and essence. Within this experience you will learn to explore the natural world in ways you never thought possible. This gentle walk in the woods includes pauses for meditative practices that will regenerate your connection to the earth's natural rhythms and rejuvenate your soul. Studies have shown that mindful time spent in nature can reduce the stress hormone cortisol, lower blood pressure, elevate mood and even boost your body's immune response. This interactive mediation will conclude with a brief introduction to ethical wildcrafting and a fresh tea making session. Available spring through fall.
Scheduled services are reserved especially for you. I require 24 hour advance notice in order to cancel any service with no charge. If your appointment is not cancelled within this notification period, your session is considered confirmed. Any changes or cancellations made after the 24 hour window are subject to the full charge for each service.
